He is also a permanent faculty member at Sheth C. N. College of Education, Ahmedabad, holding an M.A. in English Literature, M.Ed., Ph.D. in Education, and NET (Education). Renowned for his innovative approach to education, Dr. Sharma conducted pioneering research on ‘Free Progress Education’ at Mirambika under the mentorship of Robert John Shotton (University of York) and received classroom management training from Dr. Daya Modelay (London University). He has published extensively in national and international journals and serves as the Editor of the international journal Voice of Research. Dr. Sharma has organized numerous workshops and seminars, led sponsored educational projects, and is a sought-after resource person for universities and educational agencies. A key contributor to policy development, he has drafted manuals and frameworks for School Quality Assessment and Accreditation (SQAA), including work for Children’s University, Gandhinagar. He has designed curricula for various programs and successfully guided five Ph.D. students to completion. In recognition of his contributions to the field, Dr. Sharma has been honoured with the ‘Shiksha Shiromani Award’.
